Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST)
SIAST provides comprehensive skill training
across Saskatchewan. Campuses are located in Moose
Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina
and Saskatoon.
SIAST programs provide training in more
than 200 certificate and diploma programs, apprenticeship training,
university courses, adult upgrading classes and extension courses
covering trades, technologies, agriculture, engineering, community
and social services, administration and business, and natural
resource management. A wide variety of academic upgrading programs
are available on all SIAST campuses or in rural and northern Saskatchewan
where they are offered in co-operation with regional colleges

Palliser
Campus, Moose Jaw
Palliser Campus offers programs that
follow the traditional teaching method. Business and technology
programs at Palliser Campus are available in a co-operative education
format. Co-operative education programs provide paid work experience
in combination with classroom study. Certificate and diploma programs
are offered in the business, industrial, services and technology
areas. In addition, Palliser offers entrance level university
programming in co-operation with the University of Saskatchewan
and the University of Regina.

Woodland
Campus, Prince Albert
The program model at Woodland Campus
utilizes varied instructional approaches and provides opportunities
for self-directed learning activities, with students sharing responsibility
for the management of learning. A strong emphasis is placed on
practical training and the ability to perform workplace functions.
Certificate and diploma programs are offered in applied arts,
business, community services, trades, heavy industrial and resources.
Off-campus university courses are delivered in co-operation with
the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Regina.

Wascana
Campus, Regina
Wascana campus offers programs through
traditional teaching and competency-based education. In competency-based
education programs, students progress at their own pace with the
assistance of printed learning guides, an instructor and, in many
cases, computerized, self-administered testing. Certificate and
diploma programs are offered in agriculture, health sciences,
business and industrial and technical trades.

Kelsey
Campus, Saskatoon
Programs at Kelsey campus follow the
traditional teaching method. Students learn through classroom
lectures and laboratory, shop work or a practicum. Certificate
and diploma programs are offered in the health, sciences, community
services, industrial and technology areas.
