Before you look for work in a specific occupation you should ensure that you have the credentials required. You can contact local Regulatory Bodies for specific information. You'll find a list of regulated occupations at Work Destinations.
You may have specialized skills or training for a specific
occupation. Click on Jobs by Occupation to link to a site that
has a wealth of information designed for you. The site enables
you to search for work by general area of specialization, for
example, agriculture, commerce, nursing. The site also lists
hundreds of companies and associations by the same general areas
of specialization. Some company information is general in nature
but many companies also have job listings.
Another good source of information by occupation is on the
National Job Bank. This is also a very comprehensive site, focussing
especially on Canada.
