Making an Action Plan

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step" - Confucius

If you have an action plan, the chances of achieving your goals are much greater.

5 Steps for Developing an Action Plan:

  1. Make an overall outline plan. Have a beginning and an end. Include all major tasks in between.
  2. Break up the major tasks into "DO-able" smaller steps or goals.
  3. Identify points of major accomplishments where you take the time to reward your achievements and review your plan.
  4. Have a realistic time frame for this plan. Identify target start and end dates for each major accomplishment.
  5. Identify the points where you may run into roadblocks and plan for success.
