The work description should include a description of the physical
demands of the job, especially where it might affect some individuals’
ability to do the work. Examples would include working long hours
at a computer screen, working with grain dust (which would cause
allergy problems with some individuals), or relying on the telephone
for communication.
These physical demands can be used to develop a plan for accommodating
the work to fit a given worker. See the Saskatchewan
Human Rights Commission web site for further information
about ideas for accommodating jobs to make them accessible to
more people.
