Non-profit agencies specialize in finding employment for people
who face some barrier(s) to finding employment. These agencies
might place women, aboriginal people or people with disabilities,
for example. Non-profit agencies serve the job applicants as
well as the employers. They offer applicants career counselling
and job hunting advice. They provide some screening of applicants
for employers and provide assistance in developing accommodation
plans for bringing a particular individual into your workplace.
